About us

Our association assembles young active people who are willing to undertake action aimed at building open-minded society, interested in youth problems, international education and culture. We would like to develop regional, national and European awareness. We initiate and propagate all forms of activity among young people. We also organize trainings, seminars, conferences, public parties, meetings and exchanges. We cooperate with the people who are authorities in cultural, political and social life. Still we are all the time seaking for the new contacts.

How did Strim come into being?

Youth Development and Integration Association STRIM was established in 2001 in Krakow as a non-governmental organization. Our mission is to develop activity amongst young people and broaden their horizons. We associate people who are active, full of ideas, responsive to social and youth problems and willing to make an effort to build an open society. We associate 40 members, mostly students of Krakow universities, youth workers and volunteers, who are experienced in participating and organizing different programs and projects. On the basis of their experience, we take initiatives from the domains of sociology, culture, intercultural relations and education.
